How To Find Peace And Happiness In Your Life
At this time, while people on earth are going through such an incredibly challenging time, many people are feeling not only confused, but hopeless. So because of this, the Angels are inspiring me to write some helpful tips about how to find peace within, and thus be able to feel really happy.
Happiness is not just a state of mind. Happiness is a choice. So having a good attitude, having a desire and genuinely trying to be happy is important.
The first and most important step…
To me, the most important ingredient required to find inner peace, is to have a connection with God. Without a connection with your Creator, how can you possibly feel inner peace? You can’t. But when you do find that connection, life then has meaning.
How can you develop that connection? Prayer, meditation, and “practicing the presence” which is thinking of God all the time and constantly communing with God.
In other words, it is important and practical to develop that connection, because, without it, you’ll never have true inner peace and it won’t be possible to be fully happy. With that connection, you’ll find so much inner peace that nothing can take it away.
The next thing you need in order to find inner peace and be happy is to get your life in alignment with God—with your Creator.
How can you do that?
Again…meditate and pray.
Get your relationships in order…
Be loving, understanding and forgiving with the people that you care about, but let go of the people who are really not your friends, who bring you down, and who really do not belong in your life. In other words, be discerning and make changes that you know are right for you.
Check your eating habits…
How’s your diet? Are you eating truly nutritious foods? If you have any doubts, look into the books by Robert O. Young, as an example. It’s truly amazing how much you can help your health, happiness and vitality, simply through nutrition, and through right thinking.
Remember, your body is your temple, so it’s important to keep it clean. When you eat toxic junk foods, your body gets clogged up. When you eat a healthy, plant-based diet, your body can get clean and healthy, and a clean and healthy body helps you feel happy.
How about your other habits?
Check yourself. Examine who you are. Are you okay with everything that you do, or are there things that you think you should change? If there are things that you know you should change, make a determination to honor your own knowledge.
You might have to change your habits one at a time, but that’s okay. As soon as you set your mind to changing one bad habit, you’ll immediately feel better. Then, when you realize you did it, and you’ve managed to replace one bad habit with a good one, it will actually be easier and you can continue to the next personal change on the list and go on from there.
Just by doing those few things, you will find that regardless of what incredible craziness may be going on in the rest of the world, you will feel in alignment with your own Creator, which is God, and in this way, you will be able to find not only lasting Inner Peace, but true, transcendental and Spiritual happiness.
