How To Remember Your Dreams
Due to the widespread fear-mongering that has been going on lately, many people are chronically afraid. Yet living in fear is disastrous for the mind and body, and is not at all in keeping with the teachings of the Bible, God and the Good Angels. So in order to be of assistance to those of you who don’t want to live in fear, I decided to write this article about dreams, which I believe will help you relax. Remember, Angels are assigned to you, so you don’t have to live in fear.
For those of you who believe in and love the Good Angels of God, it’s important to establish an open communication with them, and one way that God and the Good Angels attempt to communicate to you is through your dreams.
Regrettably, many people do not put any importance on or value their dreams. Yet, as I said before, this is one of the mediums the Good Angels use to communicate with us, which is is why, in many of my sessions, I encourage clients to remember and write down their dreams, so the Angels and I can explain and interpret them, and bring the healing messages that are inherent within.
Of course, some people haven’t remembered their dreams in years, and because of this, many have come to the erroneous conclusion that they don’t dream at all. But the truth is…everyone dreams. Generally speaking, the people who don’t remember their dreams just don’t focus on their dreams, so they just don’t remember.
But there is a way that you can learn to remember your dreams—even if you haven’t remembered any for years. Why would you want to do so? Because, as I said previously, this is one way the Good Angels communicate with you, and the Good Angels will always provide more inner peace and insight.
How an Angel Reading can help interpret dreams…
First, I’m going to share with you how the dream interpretations that I do work within Angel Readings:
The client tells me their dream, and while they do, I make quick notes. I do this because each word and symbol that shows up in their dream is important. This means the details are important, and the only way I’m going to remember all the details by the time they’ve finished telling me their dream, is if I take notes.
Then, I ask questions for clarification, so I get it right, and after this, the Angels and I share interpretations and messages that come through. Then, I ask the client if the interpretation seems right. To date, I’ve never had anyone say that it doesn’t seem correct. Then we discuss the dream further, and help the client with any further insights that come through.
How to remember your dreams…
First, start with a new spiral notebook that will be completely dedicated as your dream journal. You will keep this with a pen or pencil next to your bed.
Second, before going to bed at night, write down a question that you want your High Self or Angels to answer. To start with, this should be a simple, uncomplicated question that will be easy to answer, and easy to understand, like whether you should go on a trip to visit your sister in the near future or not. Or you could ask whether or not you should get a new puppy, or any other simple question you are thinking of. Read the question out loud, and expect the answer to come through your dreams.
Recognize that the dream you remember will certainly give the answer to your question. You may not see it at first, but the answer will be there. In my experience, it always is. Of course, you may not see that the answer to your question is held within the dream, but the Angels and I will see the answer, and we will tell you…It’s really fun!
When you wake up in the morning, remember that you asked the question, and stay still. Do not change the position you woke up in. As long as you are in that position—the position you were in while you were sleeping—it’s easier for you to recall your dream.
Just relax and allow the images and memories that came in your dream to unfold.
When you have done this for awhile, change your position, and allow any other thoughts and pictures from your dream to present themselves.
The problem with this is that sometimes, when you wake up, you have to go to the bathroom immediately. If you can wait awhile, stay in bed, and do as I wrote about in the above paragraph. But if you can’t wait, do the following: Go to the bathroom with one eye closed. Don’t look at the clock or in a mirror, which will bring you to a more awake state, and at least for now, this is not what you want. In order to recall the dream, you need to keep yourself in a more subconscious, semi-sleep state. Once you get into a more mundane state of mind, this is harder to do. Hence, the reason for not looking at a clock or into the mirror.
Before you forget…
As soon as you can—preferably before going to the bathroom, write down the images, thoughts, story, and words that surface. If you remember specific words that you heard in your dream, write them down first. The reason to do this is because if you don’t write the words down first, you may forget them, but if you write them down first, you’ll have them to insert into the context where they properly fit after you’ve had the chance to write down the dream itself.
Then, write down your dream as completely as you can. Even if it’s short, and all you can remember is the image of a simple feather, or something like that, go ahead and write it down. It’s a start to your being able to remember your dreams in the future. You’re honing your skills!
As I mentioned, the dream itself may seem to have nothing whatsoever to do with the question you asked the night before. Yet, the dream will answer the question, and in an Angel Reading, I will be able to show you how your dream answers the question you asked.
Sometimes it will take awhile for you to remember a dream, but if you keep asking the question you wrote down before you went to sleep at night, eventually, you will remember a dream. At that point, you will have opened the floodgates for you to remember more dreams in the future.
