The Power Of Choosing Faith Over Fear

Strength and honor are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.” Proverbs 31:25

We are now living in the time spoken of in The Book of Revelations, a time when there is much to be fearful of. Of that, I have no doubt. Back in March of 2020, things got really interesting in America, where I live, and in fact, throughout the entire world. At that time, when a certain “v” word was said to have spread across the entire earth, the main mantra from the media was “be afraid”. I never thought this was a good idea.

In fact, the response they were suggesting is absolutely opposite from what we’re told in the Bible. Verses such as: Joshua 1:9

I hereby command you: Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

And Joshua 10:8

The LORD said to Joshua, “Do not fear them, for I have handed them over to you; not one of them shall stand before you.”

Faith vs. Fear

The response of fear is also not at all in keeping with the spirit of 1776 when the Colonists of America who wanted to split from the rulership of the English king, while facing unbelievably poor odds and circumstances, forged ahead anyway—with all their courage and might— in order to obtain liberation from tyranny.

The truth is that courageous, strong people are not easy to control, while fearful people, who do not trust in God and God’s Angels to protect them and bring them what they need are very easy to control. Now do you see why the media promoted all that fear?

My philosophy of life is to choose joy and trust in God completely…

In my journey through life, I have come through very precarious situations… Getting out of a previous marriage, in my early life, took courage—because, honestly, there was a chance he might have wanted to do me in. Living through that scenario was frightening, and I knew I was taking a big chance, but I chose to trust in God and God’s Angels completely, and simply face whatever was to come while I stood steadfast in faith. I came through that time stronger than before, and now live a joyful life.

Another situation was a health crisis I went through in 2016. I decided to completely go with nutrition, right living and faith rather than going the allopathic route. Now, six years later, I have proven to myself that following natural health laws, including meditation on God, is the best way to cause and maintain bodily and spiritual health. I can say this now because my health is obviously outstanding, and even though others in my age group are routinely taking numerous prescription drugs every day just to stay alive, I take absolutely no prescription drugs, and I’m doing fine.

I’m saying all this because I want you who read my blog to understand that faith is better than fear. Faith takes courage. When you have faith, you really don’t know what difficulties and pitfalls you may come across, but you go ahead anyway and trust in God, the benevolent Universe, or whatever is most meaningful for you. Either way, when you trust that God and God’s Angels to protect you and guide you, you’re not only showing Courage, you’re also getting yourself out of the way, and allowing God and God’s Angels to work miracles in your life.
